A house-house, instead of a tiny house

A follow up to this post, I’m now leaning towards buying a real, small, fixer-upper next year instead of building a tiny house on wheels. It will cost more and take more time, but it’s a safer choice right now until the laws in Ontario change.

My main goal of making something really feel like me, and living in the middle of a bunch of trees, it still totally attainable.

So, my research will shift to real-estate, and sustainable, affordable building materials that don’t need to be as light weight or as flexible as they would need to be for a tiny house on wheels.
